She leaves behind second chances and potential relationships in her pursuit of discovering this new María.

CAOS, the psychological game where 20 contestants, split into 14 hunters and 6 butterflies, face off in a 100-minute debate to decide which group member will survive to win €50,000 on a stage filled with trap doors. Each episode of the game takes place entirely in a single set. Contestants remain at their trap doors for the entire 100 minutes, unless eliminated, debating social issues (such as racism and discrimination, sustainability vs. environmental pollution, mental health, prostitution abolitionism, animal-based food consumption, freedom of expression and censorship, etc.) displayed on a video wall. Each contestant must take a stance either for or against the issue at hand and votes for the opponent they believe least deserves to win the €50,000, based on the positions and arguments presented on each topic under debate.

Immersive rooms have gained popularity in recent years, but there is still no narrative language specific to the immersive room format. This final degree project advances towards the development of this language. By studying the concept of immersion applied to art and analyzing the various immersive works currently available, a range of resources specific to the immersive room format have been identified, and ways to enhance the narrative through these resources have been proposed. In this way, a script and storyboard have been developed, adapted to this format, exploring these tools to tell the story of Els cignes salvatges.

Aniol is finishing primary school at the Tuixent school, part of the ZER system for rural areas. This year is special because it marks the end of his school cycle and the last year of his teacher, Mercè, who has welcomed him since his arrival in Ossera. Based on a methodology of constant experimentation and iteration, the creator generates an immersive installation where light takes center stage, used both as a creative material for generating visuals and sound. This project arises from her personal curiosity to experiment with all kinds of materials and her fascination with things considered intangible and ephemeral, particularly those elements we cannot touch, yet still hold presence. She creates various forms of light through behaviors dictated by its interaction with surfaces and diverse materials, reflective and translucent. The light reflections generated form the installation. These visuals are abstract and unpredictable. Mechanical elements are used to give the visuals autonomy, allowing them to move through space. These very reflections, when captured with the help of light sensors, trigger the sound of the installation based on their intensity. In this way, the project forms an immersive installation where the elements themselves interact with each other to come to life. The mystery of Espectres is that you see yourself reflected in it.

Fins al plumero is a comedy series in a mockumentary format that depicts the misadventures of a group of cleaners as they try to create a cleaning company in a working-class neighborhood in Barcelona. Led by María Susana, or Susi, a bold entrepreneur with a vision, the team faces all kinds of obstacles on their path to modernization, from internal complications to clients’ resistance to change. They also strive to improve both their personal growth and society’s perception of their work. The plot focuses on the comedic challenges they face while trying to innovate the business in the 21st century.

Zoe inhabits the intersection of various aspects of their life. They are a musician, writer, biologist specializing in gender, and identify as trans non-binary, bisexual, within the asexual spectrum, and autistic… a series of labels that the system does not accept and marginalizes. This documentary portrays their reality, from intimacy and daily life, touching on care, well-being, and enjoyment, but also the systemic oppressions and violences they face, from the street to home.

INSTINT(O): FUERA DENTRO, DENTRO FUERA is an interactive audiovisual installation that reflects on the relationship we establish with our most instinctive side in contemporary Western society. This project aims to bring users closer to their more earthly, sensory, and bodily aspects and question their presence in daily life. The main goal is to restore our connection with the most instinctive “self” through sensitivity and dialogue.

Las sombras de la fe is a True Crime documentary series that uncovers the dark secrets behind a terrible crime that took place in 1971 in the Port of Sagunto (Valencia). This town was known as “little Russia” due to the strength of its workers’ movement. At the time, Spain was nearing the end of the Francoist dictatorship, a period marked by social and political uncertainty, where the Church held significant power.

The protagonists of this documentary series are Josep Prat, the priest of the parish of Nuestra Señora Begoña, and Paquito Calero, his 9-year-old altar boy. Paquito always helped with the evening masses until on March 2, 1971, the seven o’clock mass was never held. That day, Prat picked up Paquito from school and murdered the young altar boy in the sacristy of the church. The child was found with 47 stab wounds all over his body.

Paquito’s death marked a turning point in the history of the church in the town. After this horrific event, no more Holy Week processions were held in Port de Sagunto as a protest against the murder of Francisco Calero, a grief that still lingers to this day.

During the trial, over 300 people from the town protested, demanding the death penalty for Prat. In the end, he was sentenced to 17 years in prison and disappeared from the town. Years later, Paquito’s family discovered that Prat did not serve his sentence and was never excommunicated. The Church protected him, and he continued working as a vicar in Lleida until his death in 2002.

However, Joaquim forbids Joana from returning to her old apartment, claiming he doesn’t want to leave her alone. Nevertheless, Joana, with her strong personality, insists. Eventually, Joaquim is forced to confess that during the past year, while his parents were absent, the apartment was occupied by squatters. Joana is disappointed by her son, but Xènia decides to confront the squatters to resolve the issue. However, her intentions begin to shift, and she starts to form a sexual and emotional relationship with them. She is attracted to both young people, who pull her out of her comfort zone but also make her feel safe. Geo (22), Miki (24), and Xènia grow closer, spending a lot of time together, until Xènia realizes that she is developing feelings for both of them. The two squatters, who had previously had a purely sexual relationship, decide to expand it and make it an emotional one between the three of them.

Requiem for a Beat is a 2D boss rush game where combat is driven by cards. Choose an initial deck, dodge enemy attacks on your grid, and unleash powerful abilities onto enemy lines. After each battle, decide which cards to keep and adapt your deck to counter the defeated boss’s playstyle. The project offers a new way of understanding textiles, connecting traditional design with digital innovations.

The plot revolves around Yummy, a human girl who one night devours a lot of sweets. This triggers a series of events where her dreams become more “interactive,” and she finds herself in a world of candy, adopting the appearance of a white rabbit. Her new mission is to fight the sweets, now in the form of bones, in order to escape the imaginary world.

Teràpia de Folk is a docu-reality show for television and streaming platforms focused on culture and mental health, where different young Catalans confront their deepest fears and phobias. In each episode, we explore one young person’s relationship with a fear or phobia, such as fire, heights, or agoraphobia. With the guidance of a mentor, they dive into the inner workings of a Catalan cultural tradition related to their fear, such as correfocs, castellers, or La Patum festival, learning its secrets and integrating with the group. This journey of personal growth and cultural discovery through different parts of Catalonia culminates in a final challenge: participating in the celebration of the tradition.

One night at home, Lorey, about to go to sleep, decides to listen to an episode of her favorite horror podcast. However, all the stories narrated in the podcast begin to come true, trapping Lorey in her room until the end of the episode. The player must survive all the paranormal events that manifest in Lorey’s house during each episode of the podcast, until they recover the phone, which had been taken by the entities earlier, and turn off the audio, ending all the apparitions.
